The length of the audience increased, and the popularity of the cinema industry reached the level of immense success. People danced on the tunes of the Bhojpuri songs. With each film, the Bhojpuri cinema started evolving. The 2006 film Ganga starring Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini gave true recognition to Bhojpuri Film Industry.The film industry is now worth 2000 crore. Films like Coolie No. 1, Nirahwa Chala London of 2020 have struck the Box Office with a huge collection.The struggle of Bhojiwood for recognition and respect still continues. The industry is on its verge of losing Identity at the national level. The stars who learned to twinkle in Bhojpuri Cinema are looking for another sky. The Cinema which once objectified culture now seems to objectify people. The story level has reached to a drop. The films have to struggle for enough screens. The Bhojpuri cinemas stand inferior when it comes to representation. Most of the people from the state itself have changed theirpreferences.Bhojpuri Cinema is not just a film industry for Bihar or UP, it is a medium of people’s entertainment in their comfort zone, it is medium of giving value to the culture of Bhojpuri speakers.
